Preparation of SO_4~(2-)/WO_3-ZrO_2 for Catalytic Synthesis of Butyl acetate

Abstract

To prepare the esterification catalyst SO42-/WO3-ZrO2,investigate the effects of various factors such as preparative conditions of the catalyst.The results showed that with concentration of WO3 10%,calcinating at 300 ℃ for 2.0 h.Butyl acetate was synthesized with the catalyst.The optimized conditions were acetic acid 0.2 mol,mole ratio of alcohol to acid 1.8∶1,reaction time 30 min and catalyst dosage 0.75 g,esterification rate is 98.2%.
