Abstract
The online monitoring of the characteristics of circuit breaker in high voltage switchgear has been studied.The curve route of moving contact has been measured indirectly by using non-contact angular displacement sensor,which could effectively overcome the difficulties in installing conventional angular displacement sensor and linear displacement sensor.The opening and closing moment of static and moving contact has been identified by using the auxiliary contacts of circuit breaker with the help of experiment.The starting moment of the circuit breaker' opening and closing period has been clarified by using hall current sensors and their circuits.The parameters of circuit breaker's mechanical characteristics have been calculated by using DSP2812 as processor.
