Abstract

This paper build a water quality prediction model in Taihu Lake on the base of 2-D riemann approximate solution model .And using this model to simulate COD_(Mn) which is one of the quality indicator in Taihu Lake.The result of simulation is very close to the measure value by the water quality monitoring stations in Taihu Lake.That indicated this model can be used to predict the water quality in Taihu Lake preferably.
