Abstract

Taking a 15 MW waste incineration turbine-generator unit which disposed waste of 1 100tevery day as the research object, the technical and economic analysis for municipal solid waste incineration by oxygen-enriched combustion technology was carried out.Compared with conventional waste incineration boiler using air combustion, boiler adopting this technology equips with air separation units and CO2compression device, but has no needs for firing coal to help the ignition, and can realize nearly zero emission of the flue gas pollution. The economic calculation results showed that, the power consumption of air separation unit,CO2compression and liquefaction device accounted for 56.87% and 19.93% of the total electricity generation, respectively;comprehensively considering other auxiliary energy consumption, the net power generation efficiency of this power plant was 4.01%.With the advantages of zero pollutant emission, resource recovery, economic and technical feasibility and outstanding social benefit, the oxygen-enriched combustion of MSW technology is expected to become a new environment-friendly technology with high waste treatment efficiency.
