Husserl's Concept Analysis of Expression and Meaning

In volume I of logical Investigations,Husserl puts forward the three levels in the construction of pure logic ideal, which include determining the category, finding the rules, and establishing theory. The Investigation I of Volume II of Logical Investigations is the answer to the first level. Husserl divides the sign into expression and indication according to the existence of meaning. He points out that the effect of indication is to indicate something,but the expression has an additional indicative function and the two interacts. He makes triple distinction of the expression and points out that whether it is a subjective expression or the objective expression,the variations to them actually are the ones in the act of meaning rather than the variations in meaning itself. If we want to construct the ideal of pure logic,we have to go back to concept analysis of unified meanings.
