Abstract

The content of free TDI in polyurethane curing agent is an very important evaluation index.Effects of molar ratio of TDI to TMP,reaction temperature,dropping time and holding time on free TDI content were discussed.A quadratic regression models was built up.The synthesis process was analyzed by response surface methodology and was optimized.The results show that the ideal content of free TDI was 1.07% as molar ratio was 0.25,dropping time was 5.6 hours,reaction temperature was 64°C and holding time was 2 hours.
