Foreign Investment Region Evolution in China and Influencing Factors——Adjustment of China's FDI Policies

Abstract

This paper analyzes the region evolution of FDI in China. FDI in China mainly focuses on East region. After the entry into WTO, FDI in China presents the trend of going to the North and the trend of going to West is not clear, and FDI in different provinces are imbalance. Then this paper discusses the influencing factors of region evolution of FDI including infrastructure, market factors, labor force factors, preferential policies, and industrial clusters effect. Finally, some policies are put forward in order to accelerate FDI's flowing into the West and Central region.
