A Study on Urban Road Greening from the Perspective of Ecological Civilization

There are generally two ecological issues in the current urban road greening in China,over_construction of landscape roads without paying attention to their ecological functions,and mistaking regular road greening for ecological construction. It is proposed in this article that,theoretically,the urban road greening should take the ecological civilization as the primary guidance,and practically it should benefit our life and ecology,strengthen its cultural forces,be institutionally regulated and develop with innovations. It is also contended that the traditional aesthetic ideas and standards of road greening should be changed,and ecological aesthetics and effects should be employed in guiding the urban road greening to achieve technology innovation and exert its ecological functions.
