Abstract

With the development of modern educational techniques,multimedia is brought into foreign language teaching.Multimedia combines computer technology and foreign language teaching,which can not only strengthen students' understanding of foreign language courses,but also cultivate students' practical abilities in the environment of language application.Multimedia is considered to be a bridge connecting theoretical knowledge and practical application.This paper is aimed at discussing such aspects as the advantages of application of multimedia in foreign language teaching,the conditions for its application and some existing problems.
