Abstract
The cavitation structures of semi-cylindrical irregularity were investigated by using high speed photography in the Hydraulics Laboratory at Zhejiang University of Technology and presented in this paper. The experiment was carried out with flow speed 7 to 40 m/s,frame rate of the camera was 20000fps and exposure time 4μs.The cavitation structures of semi-cylindrical irregularity and the interaction between aeration bubbles and cavitation bubbles were observed. The effects of different gas concentrations on the interaction between aeration bubbles and cavitation bubbles were also involved.
