Abstract

Study on flood control and disaster reduction of Poyang Lake has made great preat progress in the last years,especially after the extraordinarily serious flood in 1998.Advances in research on flood control and disaster reduction of Poyang Lake were reviewde in this paper.Finally,several urgent problems about the development of lake district were put forward.For example,deepening research of appilyin 3S technology and optimun theory to flood control and disaster reduction of Poyang Lake and of flood-disaster risk discipline.
