New Type Spiral Drill Bits Long Structure Dynamic Numerical Simulation and Experimental Study

Abstract

In this paper,as long spiral drill which is one type of engineering machinery product is drilling inefficiency and broken easily,combined with the metal cutting theory to design a new structure in the form of long spiral twist drill,and to establish the basis of soil mechanics soil mechanics model applied ANSYS / LS-DYNA in the Lagrange algorithm drilling simulation,analysis of long spiral drill drilling efficiency.The results show that the new long spiral drill cutting efficiency significantly higher than the traditional long spiral drill.
