The Results of Arthroscopic Treatment for the Light Medium Patellofemoral Arthritis

Objective To explore the effective and micro-invasive treatment for the light medium patellofemoral arthritis.Methods From January 2006 to November 2010,116 cases(OutbridgerⅠ17cases、Ⅱ 89 cases、Ⅲ 10cases) of light medium patellarofemoral arthritis were treated with arthroscopy operations and their knee function was followed up.Lysholm score was used to asses the function of knee respectively.Results All the cases were followed up for 6 months to 40 months,with an average of 17.6 months.The mean Lysholm Score was 82.08 points.There were statistical differences(P0.05)between the score before operation and after operation.Conclusion The application of arthroscopy in the treatment for light medium patellofemoral arthritis is characterized by micro—invasive and of high efficiency.So it is worthwhile to populize it.
