The “Green Energy Space” of the Free Trade Rules:From the Perspective of Canada Renewable Energy Generator Dispute

The differentiation of market creation and market distortion by Appellate Body maintains members' policy space on renewable energy,and leaves uncertainty as well. Revision of SCM rules will be needed for the extension of green space under the WTO through restoration of non-actionable subsidy.
