Abstract
In Siwujiazi oilfield, W20 block is characterized by low formation temperature(28.7℃ on average), high wax content in crude oil(30 % ~ 40 %), and low formation energy(formation pressure coefficient ranging 0.85 to 0.95). In this study, by both theoretical analysis and experiment, an autogenic heat and loading foam fracturing fluid, suit for W20 block, is developed. Moreover, it has been applied to W20-5 well, with a design scale of 18m3. Result shows that it is more efficient; oil production increases from 0.24 t before fracturing to 2.0 t after fracturing. Compared conventional fracturing fluid used in the same block, a better stimulation effect may obtain after using this foam fracturing fluid.
