Tital: the Textual Investigation into "畏"in "子畏於匡"in The Analects of confucius

There have been many interpretations of the same Chinese character 畏in 子畏於匡in The Analects of Confucius,of which what most scholars believe are fear,alterness or imprison.However,all of the interpretations are contradictory to the findings of the investigation.The paper attempts to argue that 畏was mistaken for 围due to their similar pronunciations.
