Abstract
The research progresses in the catalysts for gas-phase methanol dehydration to dimethyl ether were reviewed. At present, zeolite and alumina were the two main types of catalysts for this process, and γ-Al2O3 was more widely used.RD and industrial application of the novel catalyst CNM-3 were introduced in detail. With CNM-3 as catalyst, the purity of dimethyl ether product could reach 99.99%,the one-through conversion of methanol was more than 80%,the selectivity to dimethyl ether was more than 99.5 %,and the catalyst life could reach up to 3 years.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
