Abstract

Objective:To investigate the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)and apoptosis regulating gene Bcl 2,tumor suppression gene P16 protein in the development of gastric cancer and precancerous tissues. Methods:Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of PCNA,Bcl 2,P16 protein in total 90 cases (16 cases of chronic superficial gastritis,24 cases of chronic atrophic gastritis,12 cases of intestinal metaplasia,18 cases of dysplasia and 20 cases of gastric cancer). Results: PCNA LI gradually increased from superficial gastritis to gastric cancer. There were significant differences in five groups ( P 0.05) .The positive rate of Bcl 2 protein expression in gastric carcinoma and precancerous lesions was significantly higher than that in chronic superficial gastritis( P 0.05). There was no significant difference in the postive rate of Bcl 2 between dysplasia and gastric cancer or intestinal metaplasia( P 0.05).The positive rate of P16 expression in gastritis was significantly higher than that in gastric cancer( P 0 05).Conclusions: PCNA ,P16,Bcl 2 gene expression alteration occurred in early gastric cancer:P16 expression was low and the other two were high.asia and2 0 cases of gast
