Abstract
The through steel truss girder bridge can be a competitive bridge type for medium span highway bridges owing to the advantages of its low architectural height, fast construction speed and good durability. In the structural design of a through steel truss girder highway bridge, the plate-type portal frame and steel-concrete composite floor system were applied. In this paper, the design features and construction schemes of the floating-and-pulling erection of the bridge are presented. The presentations in the paper may serve as reference to the design of similar bridges.
