Abstract

The relations among the enzymes of SOD(superoxide dismutase),AsA-POD(ascorbate peroxidase) and CAT(catalase) and TTC(tetrozolium) reduction of seedlings leaves of two soybean cultivars under 4%PEG and 0.8%NaCl stresses were analyzed by the methods of the simple correlation coefficient, stepwise regression and the direct and indirect path-coefficient.The results showed there was significantly positive correlation between AsA-POD/SOD and TTC reduction in young leaves under PEG/NaCl stresses,respectively.Also,AsA-POD(PEG treatment)/SOD(NaCl treatment) had positive direct and indirect effect to TTC reduction, and CAT had negative effect. The results indicated that AsA-POD/SOD is the key enzyme factor affecting the ability of drought/salt tolerance in seedlings leaves of two soybean cultivars respectively.
