Advance in Decompression Surgery of Abdominal Compartment Syndrome

Abdominal compartment syndrome(ACS) is a fatal organ failure caused by intra-abdominal pressure increase under a variety of pathological conditions.The release of intra-abdominal pressure with decompression surgery and postponement of abdomen suture are effective ways to save the patients.The research about ACS is reported increasingly.The development of the indications and methods of abdominal decompression and postponement of abdomen suture are reviewed.
