Abstract
Kang Youwei one of the great masters of Confucianism in late Qing Dynasty, was deeply influenced by his family and teacher from childhood . In addition he was learned and versatile, thus established deep foundation of Confucianism. Therefore Kang Youwei's reform thought revealed the strong Confucian characteristics;in the course of exchange of Chinese culture and Western culture ,he adhered to the subject position of Confucianism;in the course of formation and practice of the reform thought, he combined his study with reform; On the basis of worshipping Confucius, he remoulded Confucius' image again.
