Abstract
The clinical situation on acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of dysmenorrhea in nearly five years through the treatment methods were d in this article which analyses comprehensively of the effect and characteristic of the acupuncture and moxibustion treatment(Simple acupuncture and moxibustion treatment,auricular acupuncture therapy,Moxibustion therapy,Chinese herbs on umbilicus therapy,acupoint catgut embedding,needle warming,acupoint application,acupoint injection and so on) of dysmenorrhea.So it is concluded that the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of dysmenorrhea is reliable.But there are still some problems to be solved in the present clinical diagnosis standard,research methods and the study of mechanism of acupuncture and moxibustion.
