Study of TDOA/FDOA Location Accuracy Based on Position-line Error Analysis

The concept of position-line error has been introduced for the double-satellite TDOA/FDOA location.With the grads theory the distribution of the TDOA/FDOA position-line error is figured out and has been analyzed.The qualitative and quantitative analysis about the location performance is done based on TDOA/FDOA parameter.The relationship among the TDOA/FDOA location accuracy,parameter position-line error and the angle of position-lines is derived and given.The influence of the parameter error and the angle of position-lines is analyzed in the TDOA/ FDOA location system.
