Vehicle Positioning and Tracking System Using GPS and GSM

The GPS,GSM and GIS technique are used to develop a vehicle positioning and tracking system,which is based on the network and can track the vehicle automatically on the network.The system contains two parts: the vehicle intelligent terminal with GPS GSM and the monitoring center which manages the digital map system.This system uses the GPS to acquire the position of vehicle,and uses the GSM to realize the communication between the vehicle and monitoring center.So the target can be shown on the digital map,and we can access the map through the Internet.This paper introduces the part of the vehicle intelligent terminal mainly.
