Abstract

This paper first presented a study on the seismic displacement ductility index of steel reinforced high-strength concrete columns based on the existing experimental data, and than discusses the influential factor of seismic displacement ductility and the various parameters such as the axial compression ratio, volume stirrup ratio, shear span ratio and steel ratio which influence the ductility of steel reinforced high-strength concrete columns and the rules based on the BP nerve network. After treatment and analysis of 50 domestic test data,a functional expression is proposed by a statistical regression. This expression can be applied to the seismic design and assessment of steel reinforced high-strength concrete columns.
