Abstract

The integration of product design information of heterogeneous PDM systems is the basis for the integration of enterprises. In order to exchange the product design information among heterogeneous PDM systems through Internet, a kind of information exchange method by neutral file is put forward, the shared information model for this method is presented, and the strategies of developing information integrating interfaces based on the shared information model are introduced. The method and the model provide a common approach for solving the integration problem of enterprise product design information.
