Abstract
Objective To investigate the application of 16-slice helical computed tomography digital subtraction in the angiography of carotid arteries. Materials and Methods CT angiography using digital subtraction technique (Computed Tomography Digital Subtraction Angiography DS-CTA) and digital not-subtraction technique (Computed Tomography Digital Not-subtraction Angiography NS-CTA) was performed in 52 patients suspected of lesions. The findings of two techniques were compared. Results DS-CTA took less time than NS-CTA, but there was no significant difference in the image quality between both. Conclusion DS-CTA could be a kind of rapidly direct non-invasive three-dimensional angiography.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
