Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect of alprostadil on serum inflammatory factors of patients with early diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods:A total of 59cases of early DN were randomly divided into control group(29cases)and treatment group(30cases).Plus conventional hypoglycemic therapy, patients in control group were given valsartan capsules(Diovan)80 mg,once daily;besides basic treatment patients in the treatment group were given intravenous drip of alprostadil injection 10μg with100-250mL normal saline, once a day,for 2weeks.Serum levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),fasting blood glucose(FPG),serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),the changes of blood lipid indexes were observed and compared before and after the treatment. Results:After treatment,UAER was significantly improved, and the improvement was more significant in treatment group;the serum IL-6,TNF-a levels were decreased in two groups(P0.05),and the decrease of the treatment group was more significant than the control group(P0.01).Conclusion:Alprostadil may reduce the serum IL-6,TNF-αto block inflammation, and have protective effect on diabetic nephropathy.
