Abstract

The ethic deconstruction and reconstruction is the general theme of Cao Yu's dramas All his successful works are the expression of the theme originated from his unique life experience and the reality.But in his late writing,due to the restraining of the new superstition,he abandoned this perspective resulting in losing of thematic depth and vitality in his works.
