Abstract
The course of Reading and Writing taught at the School of Preparatory Education is both qualified course construction project and excellent course construction project of the university.This paper points out that the goal of preparatory education is to help students obtain knowledge,improve self-cultivation in limited time of preparatory study and be well prepared for undergraduate study.To achieve this goal,we must reform teaching content,try to find teaching methods suitable for ethnic students and combine classroom teaching with teaching practice activities to stimulate students’motivation in study.
