Abstract
Equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) is a severe plastic deformation (SPD) process that can fine the microstructure of materials and improve the properties and processability of materials. The preparation principle and existing technical of the ultra-fine grain titanium alloy by ECAP is discussed. The micromechanism of the grain refinement, the ECAP deformation process of the titanium alloy and the material properties that influenced by varied technological parameter are analyzed.
