Abstract
In this paper,we propose a robust adaptive beamformer using a diagonal loading approach via ridge trace based on generalized sidelobe canceller parameterization of standard Capon beamformer. The advantage of the proposed method compared with other robust methods is that our method do not need any user parameter,it corrects the sample covariance matrix only by observing the ridge trace.Simulation results are given and show that the proposed method often gives good performance.
