Abstract
The importance of the shortwave solar radiation in land surface process and air-land interaction research is described in this paper,and research achievements of shortwave solar radiation are comprehensively reviewed.In combination with the current representative shortwave solar radiation scheme in the research field of land surface process,the problems and development tendency are pointed out in this field of research,It provides scientific basis for further study of shortwave solar radiation status and characteristics.
