Abstract

Objective To study and analyze the nutrition of enteral and parenteral nutrition(PN) in total-sequential support with total parenteral nutrition after gastrointestinal surgery. Methods A total of 120 patients with gastrointestinal surgery in our hospital were randomly divided into three nutrition support modes of early EN,total PN and EN-early PN,effects, complications and intestinal barrier function of three modes were observed and compared. Results Correlative indexes such as body weight,HB,ALB,TFN,PA,enterogenous bacteria DNA,urine L/M and so on of PNEN group had significant differences with TPN group and TEN group(P0.05),the first evacuation time and hospital time of PN-EN group were significantly lower than TPN group and TEN group. Conclusion Applying PN-EN mode in supporting nutrition for patients with gastrointestinal surgery can help to improve the nutrition level and life quality of paitents after surgery.
