Abstract

The electrochemical behavior of 6 Mercaptopurine self assembled monolayer on a gold electrode has been investigated using cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry and coulometry. The results indicated that self assembled monolayer by 6 Mercaptopurine can be obtained on the gold electrode. In the solution containing K\-3Fe(CN)\-6, the reactive peak current of K\-3Fe(CN)\-6 on the gold electrode modified by 6 MP increases with the increase of the assembled time, but the redox peak potential and the formal potential move negatively. In the solution containing 0.2 mol/L KCl, the double layers capacity decreases with the increase of the assembled time. And when it′s 120 min, the self assembled monolayer by 6 Mercaptopurine is formed completely.
