Abstract
Objective:To study the changes of stress on lumbar facet joint in different lumbar manipulations by biomechanical method.Method: Cadaver lumbar spines were loaded on a material test system, and applied to a computer quantitative control to simulate three kinds of manipulations and measured stress on lumbar facet joint by sensitive film.Result:There was no significant difference for stress on lumbar facet joint in simulating three manipulations .The stress of lumbar facet were lower than the limitation of lumbar facet fracture.Conclusion:The manipulations are safe within certain rotation angle.
