Abstract
The adsorption of Cu2+,Zn2+ and Cd2+ in Na-bentonite was studied by isothermal adsorption test. The test results show that Na-bentonite has good affinity for Cu2+,Zn2+ and Cd2+,and the isothermal adsorption curve is good accord with Langmuir equation. The adsorption capacities of the Na-bentonite increases with increasing concentration of metals ions. The adsorption capacities of the Na-bentonite are found to have selectivity, and ordered in Cu2+Zn2+Cd2+.The research results indicate that Na-bentonite is a good kind of amendments with no second pollution for contaminated soil by heavy metals, and can decrease the efficiency of heavy metal in soil.
