The Research on the Design and Its Estimation of Successive Statistical Survey

It is necessary to capture successive and developmental information in time about studying population when we make research on social and economic phenomena.Successive statistical survey is a basic method of obtaining this type of information.This paper summarizes successful experiences about applying successive survey from developed countries,studies four types of successive survey designs and its assessment methods,such as repeated survey,panel survey,rotating panel survey and split panel survey.Therefore,it is definite that how to make sample survey and how to estimate samples more exactly.At last,this paper compares different methods of successive survey and their application.The design and its estimation of successive survey would reflect the odds of successive survey more completely and supply the theory guides for the reform of statistical survey system and methodology in China.
