Abstract

In the course of condensation reaction of systhesizing trimethoprim(TMP) from trimethoxybenzaldehyde, the contents of material trimethoxybenzaldehyde(TMB) and condensation product in the reaction system are analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Kinetics equations at 298.15K and at 308.15K are deduced, with the reaction series of TMB of 0.37.Apparent activation energy is 71.73kJ·moL-1.
