Abstract
[Objective] The research aimed to investigate the effects of putrescine on the tomato seed germination under NaCl Stress.[Method] The tomato cultivar 'Baiguoqiangfeng' were chosen as experiment material,which were soaked with different concentration of putrescine(Put) to determine the germination rate,germination vigor,germination index,vigor index and MDA concentration of seed germination under 100 mmol/L NaCl stress.[Result] The results showed that,in the range of low concentrations,the germination rate,germination vigor,germination index and vigor index increased,and MDA concentration decreased gradually with the rise of Put concentration in seed soaking.The optimal effect could be obtained when the concentration of Put reached 0.10 mmol/L.[Conclusion] Seed soaking with appropriate concentration of Put(0.10 mmol/L) could promote the germination of tomato seeds under NaCl stress.
