Abstract

Objective To explore cartilage transplantation of autologous nasal septum cartilage and ear cartilage and nasolabial muscles reposition in the treatment of the nasal deformity from unilateral cleft lip repair. Methods Sling the displaced alar cartilage and reset it to the normal anatomical position, harvest autogenous septal cartilage and implant it between the two feet of alar cartilage after shaping, implant ear cartilage into filling alar, apply nasal lip muscle reposition at the same time, reconstruct the nasal cartilaginous rings, and repair the nasal deformity stent. Results After operations,26 cases of nasal deformities got different degrees of improvement. In the follow-ups f 2-9-month,patients were satisfied. Conclusions Application of autologous nasal septal and auricular cartilage graft for reconstruction of nasal cartilage and nasolabial muscle reattachment is an effective way to correct the deformity of unilateral cleft lip.
