Abstract
The sorghum seeds were soaked with PP333 at 5 concentrations of 0,50,100,200 and 300 mg/L and their germination vigor, germination rate were determined resp.to detect the effect of PP333 on germination. The seedling height, root length, fibrous roots and chlorophyll content were also determined to detect the effect of PP333 on growth of seedlings. Results showed that PP333 weakened the germination vigor, restrained coleoptile growth, shortened plant, increased chlorophyll content and fibrous roots and improved root activity, suggesting that application of PP333 was feasible to soak seed and raise haleness seedling.
