The Best Curve Fitting

Abstract

Based on the characteristics of curve fitting for digitizing map,a new curve fitting criterion is set up,which is regarding coordinates X and Y as observation value and according the square sum of the shortest distance from observation points to estimates curve to the minimum and determine the parameters of curve fitting.Through the analysis of examples,such curve fitting method enhanced curve fitting accuracy,and the results more truthful and reliable.
