Abstract
Research advances in crop smulation model and its characteristics are presented in this paper. The application of crop simulation model are discussed. Its development in two major fields in futureare:(1)to simulate the process of crop production in detail;(2)to combine with geographical information system and computer expert system to establish perfect computer decision system for crop production management.
