Abstract

In the process of urbanization, collective land in villages was taken over in large quantities, so that many peasants lost their territory. The current compensation system is unfair, so peasants whose territory was taken over and therefore, have no territory and no job and lack life security. As a result, lots of peasants who lost territory became urban poor, which is a vitaly important problem during the progress of social development. Therefore, the departments concerned must regard three representations as guiding ideology, draw up the standard of economic compensation which adapts to market economy, create an employment compensation project, establish a social security project which should include the peasants who lost their territory. Using the method how settle the lost peasants can be properly solved.
