Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the therapeutic effect of abdominal acupuncture on nerve root type cervical spondylosis. Methods:According to diagnostic standard,92 Patients with nerve root type cervical spondylosis and TCM identification of deficiency of qi and blood were randomly assigned into abdominal acupuncture group and traditional acupuncture group. The symptem score of cervical spondylosis, improv ment index, improv ment rate,VAS score and therapeutic effect rate were figured out on the basis of the pre-treatment and post-treatment,finally analyse the data statistically.Result:The symptom score of cervical spondylosis, improv ment index, improv ment rate,VAS score of abdominal acupuncture group were much higher compared with traditional acupuncture group. It is very significant difference,P0.01.The therapeutic effect rate of abdominal acupuncture group was is much better then the traditional acupuncture group. It is very significant difference also. Conclusion:Abdominal acupuncture can improve the symptoms of patients with nerve root type cervical spondylosis and TCM identification of deficiency of qi and blood quickly. It is better than traditional acupuncture.
