Abstract
Objective To study the clinical features of Ulcerative colitis disease(UC). Methods A retrospective analysis was performed in 60 in-patients with UC diagnosed in past 5 years. Results 60 Ulcerative colitis(UC) cases were analyzed according to the diagnostic criteria.The male to female ratio was 1.07~1. 3(5%) of 60 UC were proctitis and 24(40%) were proctosigmoiditis, 7(12%) left-sided colitis, 24(40%) pancolitis, 2(3%)regional colitis. 25( 42%) cases of UC had first episode, 22(35%) had chronic relapse and 10(17%) were of chronic persist type,3(5%) were of acute fulminant type. Conclusion Abdominal pain?diarrhea and bloody stools were the most common symptoms in UC.
