Abstract
Objective To compare the pharmacokinetics of α-asarone intravenous emulsion and aqueous solution for injection. Methods HPLC was used to determine the drug concentration in rat plasma after intravenous administration of emulsion and solution of α-asarone.The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated using DAS 2.0 software.Result The plasma concentration-time profiles of emulsion and solution of α-asarone were similar after intravenous administration. Conclusion The plasma concentration-time profiles of α-asarone in emulsion and solution were similar, two preparations were bioequivalent.
