A Survey on the Knowledge and Behavior of Medicine Using Among the Students in a College

Abstract

Objective To study college students' knowledge of medicine,and to provide evidence for the guidance on proper using of medicine.Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to survey 628 college students from grade 1-3 of different majors.Results Most students had less knowledge on bad response,and 59.36% of the students gave the correct answer to the question about common medicine knowledge,and 26.07% of them had improper behavior of using medicine.There were statistical differences between boys and girls in the awareness of medicine knowledge(P(0.01).) Statistical significance differences of improper behaviors of medicine using were also found among the students in different grades and different genders.Conclusion Education on medicine should be strengthened in health education,so as to correct their bad behavior on medicine using.
